Vashon Island High School Boys Varsity Soccer v Klahowya, 03/14/2018.
So by the Varsity game my Canon EOS 1D Mk IV had for all purposes died.
The entire Varsity game was shot 100% manual: manual exposure with an aperture of f2.8, adjusting the shutter speed to something > 1000th sec by adjusting the ISO. With the hard lighting from the setting sun and the trees in full shade behind half the pitch, that was no mean feat. Exposure fixed in Lightroom.
No ten-frames-per-second burst mode. Shot everything single-shot, one photo per shutter release.
Single-shot really sucks for sports, so these are ... not up to my usual standards.
