Sailing in Seattle 1977 - John Sage :: FinchHaven Digital Photography

Sailing in and around Seattle, probably 1977.

I was part owner in a 28 foot Blanchard replica. Gunter gaff rigged, 1" cedar strip-planked, uncaulked.

Started out at a moorage on the Fremont Ship Canal at the very west end of Lake Union, and then later moved out to Lake Washington and down to a moorage at Rainier Beach.

So. Set one: out on Puget Sound; Lake Union; Montlake Cut; out onto Lake Washington.

Set two: our moorage on Lake Union; Lake Washington; powering down to Rainier Beach to the new moorage; sailing on Lake Washington; some more photos from the haul-out at the boat yard on the Fremont Ship canal.
